The Enerji Group is a multinational business entity that runs several distinct business lines, including Amnet, a leader in publishing services. With an ethos that focuses on nurturing and nourishing relationships, we run The Energy Projekt.
The Energy Projekt
The Energy Projekt incorporated in 2011, is a non-profit that focuses on funding passion. The program is designed to spot children and young adults with a passion and talent for varied endeavours. The project acts as a catalyst bringing together various resources and funding to help them further their chosen path.
We currently support over 15 players in athletics, football, discus throw, javelin throw, chess, table tennis, and hockey. Our chess players A.R. Ilamparthi and B. Savitha Shri did us proud by leaping to Asia’s top positions – World No.3 (under 10) and World No. 8 (under 12) respectively, as published by the World Chess Federation. Recently, our beneficiary Selvi Swetha Steffi won the gold medal in the CM Table Tennis Tournament held at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
Community welfare initiatives
Concerned by Chennai’s quickly depleting green cover, Energy Projekt liaised with Nizhal—an NGO engaged in green initiatives—by planting tree parks across Chennai and on prison grounds in the state. We actively seek to engage in more such initiatives in the future.
Health and hygiene drive
Toward providing equal access to health care and hygiene facilities for underprivileged children, The Energy Projekt ran major initiatives that included:
- Installation and maintenance of RO water purifying systems at nine government aided schools across Tamil Nadu.
- Construction of proper toilet facilities for female students at the S.I. Govt. Hr. Sec. School in Tiruvannamalai and Jeevan Gnanodaya Primary School in Vallipuram.
- Sessions on healthy eating practices and the importance of fitness by a nutritional expert.
The Energy Projekt endeavors to inculcate a strong connection to society in its employees and encourages team members’ voluntary participation in implementing and supporting community development initiatives.
